Her plan focuses on expanding green energy production, lowering prices, and creating union-backed green jobs. However, activists are calling for even more aggressive measures to address the urgent climate crisis.

Harris's agenda builds on the groundwork laid by President Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), the largest climate investment in U.S. history. She has been instrumental in promoting key initiatives like the $20 billion Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund aimed at disadvantaged communities. As part of her broader climate vision, Harris is expected to push for new, energy-efficient housing, expand renewable energy infrastructure, and target the oil industry through tougher regulations on fossil fuel emissions.
